We are a small privately owned company with some large capacity machines and a very talented work force. We are currently looking to fill some of our excess capacity by bringing in new work from outside sources and would like the opportunity to quote any jobs you might consider outsourcing. RST has been in business for nearly 15 years and most of our work has been exclusively for Alu-Cut International. RST Manufacturing was born out of the need for Alu-Cut International to have its own fabrication and machining facilities in Houston Texas.
The main products of Alu-Cut International LLC are large capacity plate and ingot saws for cutting aluminum plate and ingots – predominantly for the transport industry – which requires fabricating and precision machining of fabrications up to 40 feet (12 meters) long by 6 feet tall (1.8 meters) and any width as required by client.
For the above reason RST Manufacturing, a completely separate company to Alu-Cut, has been established over the past 16 years and whilst our mainline products are for Alu-Cut we see that for a considerable time we will have excess capacity available for contract machining and basic fabrication work (no pressure vessels but general fabrications acceptable).
Attached to this introduction you will find basic details of our capabilities and photographs of the machines that we have. Obviously, CNC machine tools are the norm and that is the case for ourselves and we do have a highly skilled labor force.
For those people not familiar with DeVleig jig mills, these were the standard for many, many years for high precision machining of fabrications and castings and our CNC large milling capacity is through two DeVleig jig mills, the largest being a moving column type and the other moving table.
